Project Overview
This project is an intelligent automation tool developed using Python and Selenium. It scrapes publicly available email addresses from Instagram accounts that have tagged a specific brand or page.
The bot starts by logging into Instagram using the user’s provided credentials via a real browser session. Cookies are saved after the first login to avoid repeated authentication. Once logged in, the user is prompted to enter the username of the target Instagram page.
The bot navigates to the “Tagged” section of the page and scans the profiles of users who have tagged the brand. It extracts email addresses directly from their bios. If a profile bio contains a link, the bot follows that link and scrapes emails from the linked webpage as well.
Throughout the process, the terminal displays real-time feedback. All scraped emails are saved in a .txt file labeled with the brand name and timestamp. After each run, the bot offers the option to scrape another page, up to 5 rounds in one session.
This tool is ideal for ethical lead generation, influencer research, and outreach tasks.
